Spring Out of the Herbarium intertwines stories of human families with stories of plants. Rather than presenting them as separate worlds, the work observes the relationships of care, transmission, adaptation and survival that shape both.

Human and plant bodies depend on their environments, respond to scarcity, change and threat, and continuously seek conditions of balance. Homeostasis emerges as a condition shared by all living beings: a fragile, ongoing process through which life sustains itself.

By bringing family memory into proximity with plant life, the project proposes an understanding of landscape grounded in interdependence. Survival is never an isolated act, but the outcome of relationships among organisms, generations and ecosystems.
